We ran the counter on 500+ real documents (essays, blog posts and emails) and compared the output against Microsoft Word and Google Docs word counts.
We checked the edge cases people actually hit — hyphenated words, contractions, numbers, apostrophes and emoji — so the totals stay consistent.
The same text always produces the same numbers: results are recalculated from scratch on every submit.
専門性 — カウントの仕組み
The text is split on Unicode whitespace, then leading and trailing punctuation is trimmed from each token. Every remaining character is classified as a vowel (a, e, i, o, u), a consonant (a–z excluding vowels) or "other" (digits, punctuation, symbols and non-Latin scripts). Word frequency is counted case-insensitively and sorted from most to least frequent.
権威性 — 基準と参考文献
Character classification follows the Unicode Standard, so accented letters and symbols behave consistently across browsers and operating systems.
Only the text you paste is counted — headers, footnotes, text boxes and comments are not included, and hyphenated words count as one word. For an official count on a formatted document, always confirm in the word processor you are submitting to.
